As soon as I saw the cover I knew who had made it. Alanah is a local artist near me and I've gotten to meet her at local art markets. I was already so excited for Living Resistance and now even more after seeing the cover!
I love this cover--what a wonderful creation! It invokes for me the wonderful holistic nature of resistance, of how it can embody every aspect of our being and this world, and how our collective resistance may have grounding in the deep wisdom of the ages.
My nine year old granddaughter spends much of her time with me in the summer. Yesterday I introduced her to the book, Holy Troublemakers and Unconventional Saints. As we went through the table of contents, I told her what I knew about the people listed. She chose to read about you. Thanks so much for educating us both! Can’t wait to read your new book.
