This has brought tears! I’m 67 and I look back to who I’ve been and have not given myself grace. Thank you for this reminder. I’m not sure if I’m a member and could you tell me where to find the casual blessings. I’ve been a little out of the loop for a while.

This post touched me very deeply. I'm grateful my 8-year-old self wrote my present self a letter that I will keep cherished and unopened until my 80th birthday. On that day I will also read the letter my 80-year-old self wrote to my 8-year-old self. What a beautiful day that will be.

This post is so good - I think we need to give our younger selves much grace. We only know what we knew then. And we need to give our selves grace everyday. IF we keep learning and evolving in our thoughts and things we learn - that will challenge the things we used to believe in as we become more aware so to speak or learn of different perspectives or opinions. Thank you for this - my younger self thanks you as well as my older self

What eloquence. I am 71, and stand amazed in your presence. I had to learn to have grace for the person I was long ago, and for my dysfunctional self. Thank you for this, I'll be sharing it with my family. 💜

Beautiful! I look back on the person I was 5 years ago, 10 years ago, 25 years ago, and try to see her with compassion... always doing the best I could with the tools I had at the time. Grateful for this journey where we get to learn and grow and do better!
