The tea kettle hums,
stove eyes illume brilliant red,
watch dawn boil over.
As surely as light
Rises and sets, illumines
Earth is born again
Like a switch is flipped,
something clicks inside my brain;
a light bulb moment.
Illumination.
Find glory in the unseen.
It feels brighter now.

A campfire burns
A candle softly flickers
My eyes are at rest
Illumine my heart
Set my soul to peace and joy
Let me share this light
It, just it, won't work.
All by itself on a mast.
It needs dark to pierce.
Illusive before
Shadows now illuminate
Wounds ready to heal
Writing is easy
Words flow with each deep breath
Weeds grow, words emerge

Ephemeral dawn
I once was blind

Warm full hearts dance close
