Love a seasonal approach to this crazy world. There has to be some rhythms to it all. Have you ever read Parker Palmer's seasonal reflections? A lot of great overlap.
Loved this, Kaitlin. Thank you! Everyone wants the rush of spring, but there’s so much to be noticed and savored in each ♥️ Personally, I’m a big fan of the quiet germination part!
I'm so grateful for this Kaitlin. Thank you so much. I feel like I kind of skipped summer because of the amount of burn out / heartbreak I experienced. I feel the invitation to enter fall and to simply be okay with how my summer season went. Your guidance is a balm.
Yes to all of this. Love the seasonal approach to exploring how to cultivate a sustainable practice to our work. And every season can be sacred. Thanks for this perspective.
Thanks for sharing a seasonal model for publishing! You mention “rituals to ground us” a few times and I’m curious if you can share ideas of what this looks like. What kinds of rituals have you done or what other suggestions do you have?
Thank you so much for sharing this wisdom, Kaitlin. What a hopeful vision for a sustainable creative career. Bookmarking it for when it’s relevant in the (hopefully) near future 💛
What a beautiful and sustainable model you provide here! I love the seasonal approach to writing that you speak of to not burn out and keep both joy and gratitude as anchors amid the very real demands on authors. Thank you for sharing!
I had just about decided not to start up an another publishing project because ... insert excuse here (people don't read anymore, I don't want to take on another project, I am too old now, etc. ).
But a season at a time, predetermined and worked in among my other seasonal chores and joys ... yeah I can do that. That's the way humans have always done things, and I forgot that.
Thank you so much for this Kaitlin. I feel like I am finally coming out of winter. <3
I honor your journey so much and I am so excited for whatever is ahead for you!
Thank you so much!

This is so relevant for me right now, and I loved reading it & thinking of this journey as 4 seasons. Thank you for putting this together!
