Lately, I’m reading books that have something to do with the new book I’m writing on storytelling, but ironically enough, some of these books might surprise you. If you know me, you know that I like to take a look at things from different angles, to stretch ideas and ask big questions, so reading different books that speak to what my own heart is processing is such a joy for me, even if the list is incredibly long and seems a little strange to others.
So, here are a few:
First, one I’ve already finished reading but really want you to know about: A Light Through the Cracks by climber Beth Rodden.
I read this book quickly, and the wisdom and care with which it was written really struck me throughout the story. It’s about grief, body care, patriarchy, love, and so much more.
