Hi friends,
I’ve safely made it home from Iona, Scotland, where I deeply enjoyed a retreat with about 40 folks. Being there feels like it was ages ago, like it’s been preserved in this sacred bubble of time. I know I was there, I know I am here now, and the relationship between the two continues to unfold.
I shared that before I left for Iona I was feeling pretty scattered, and as I’m feeling my own dust settle, I am so grateful specifically for the way that artists, creatives, and entrepreneurs are showing up right now to practice care and resistance in a really heavy and unjust world.
While on Iona I purchased this print of Saint Brigid, which now sits across from where I sit and pray/read/journal in the mornings. She reminds me of who I am, and of the dance between here and there, the spaciousness of liminality, and the constant complexity of it, too.
I look forward to the coming months here at The Liminality Journal, and I am so grateful to all of you for being part of this community.
