I often place my online events at the bottom of our posts, but sometimes I want to bring your attention to one that I am particularly excited about.
Today, I want to share with you a little bit about my upcoming online workshop called The Daily Life of a Writer (how to build a life around your art).
You don’t have to be a professional writer to attend this workshop (or any of my workshops, actually!). You don’t have to be a writer, either. This space is for all creatives who want to integrate art into their daily lives in a better way.
And at the heart of it, it’s about the reality that we think of creativity colonially.
We live in linear ways, with the to-do list at hand, measuring our worth by what we produce. It’s been this way for a long time, and that’s why in the background of all of my books, in my writing, I encourage us to think and embody our lives in cycles and seasons, honoring who and where we are at any given moment.
I’ve led this workshop once before, and in it, we explored some helpful tools for not just realigning ourselves to our day, but also re-evaluating the ways we understand “work” or “rest” or our own bodies’ and being’s seasons.
I am so excited to do this again with a new group of folks!
We will journal together, share in community, and explore some of these tools.
So here’s where you come in. If you have space to attend, please come spend time with us! My favorite online events are the ones that have attendees from this community. You are people who hold space and care, and I always appreciate that.
If you can’t make it, please share this post or the event page with some friends, and encourage them to come. Let’s continue to find ways to build community.
Thanks for reading The Liminality Journal! This post is public so feel free to share it.
Thank you for the invitation and encouragement. I would love to be part of this space and have just registered.
Hello, I would love to attend the workshop, however I am unable to attend the live workshop, will I receive a replay if I register?
